The road on my way to work this morning. I love walking on fresh snow, but we didn’t get a lot of it this season in Belgium…

1. So jealous you guys get snow. Here, it’s just always rain.

3. Got none this year at my place, none last year and one day two years ago. We used to have at least a week 15 years ago

4. This season? Try this decade… I know last winter and late 2022 there was a longer coldsnap that froze over the ponds, but the last time that happened before was in 2012. Winters are becoming shorter and warmer.

5. Oh, maybe that’s why the workers aren’t out here today. My mother said it’s because they’re scared of rain, but I guess they’re more scared of snow/freezing.

   I mean, they work on water pipes, so maybe that makes sense.

6. It’s funny, it was 17 in the Austrian Alps last week and we have snow

7. raining non-stop here… I want snow, crispy fresh and all roads closed, trains stuck schools closed.
