Yes but not as much as Slovakia. About three years ago we went on holiday there and my reaction was that we could go somewhere much nicer for the same price.
Poland is odd. Some stuff is very reasonable and some things are ridiculous. Coffee shops are a good example where a flat white is 80% of what I’d pay in London. But you can see a private dr and get an ultrasound for 10-20% of what you’d pay in London
It kind of fits but there are eastern european countries where this problem is significantly bigger.

I would be more comfortable if Hungary would be also mentioned in the first place along with our beloved Poland. We have 27% VAT and we get almost everything from import. Maybe the bot is biased towards who asked it.
