  1. It’s acceptable to serve with fusilli. Makes the sauce even more intensive, as fusilli is a sauce delivery device.

  4. This is probably the most accurate adaptation I’ve seen so far. Mom actually almost always made it like this, not with nokedli. Hats off!

  5. wow i just added this dish to my list for dinners this week!!! this looks so yummy. the recipe i found called for 2 things i don’t have: egg noodles and canned tomato.

    i’m reading through comments and it seems like the noodles can be subbed, does anyone have suggestions for alternatives to canned tomato? i have a jar of tomato pesto i’m wondering if i can sub or i also have regular tomato pasta sauce. but it’s a new dish to me and i don’t know if these variances change the flavor too much?

  6. I’m a Hungarian, and all my relatives and friends make it this way, with Fussili and Chicken breasts… so its perfect IMO xD

    I know the of thing is with Nokedli and Chicken tights

  7. doesnt have to make nokedli for it. In many households pasta, boiled potatoes and nokedli are interchangeable when it comes to any kind of pörkölt or paprikás. This looks absolutely perfect
