  1. This is being introduced by the Tories but rebels mean they need labour’s support, which they are providing.

    I won’t ever vote for either of these 2 major parties.

    Let people choose.

    Step up education and vaccine information by all means, but don’t make our liberties conditional on 3-monthly vaccines.

    I’m sure this will embolden groups with extreme views about this, unfortunately.

  3. And they don’t count previous infections towards vaccine passports. I’m in a country that does. It is the exact same thing. 2 doses + 1 positive case = 3 doses.

    I’ll just ignore quarantine. Makes no odds.

  5. Passports have been proven to have little to no effect on transmission as other countries have demonstrated, I am fully jabbed but this is nonsense & needs to be stopped.

    This isn’t going to convince the die-hard anti-vaxxers to get jabbed & if anything will likely lead more people down that rabbit hole, utterly redundant.

  7. I seriously don’t get how they can justify this. We’ve coped well enough without the need for vaccine passports up until now. Why not wait until we have evidence that the omicron variant is more dangerous, because everything I have read seems to indicate that it’s not.

  8. Soon be same for international travel until this evolves into a less severe illness.

    Not completely sold on internal passports and think proven daily tests would be better at stopping a spread but we really should use anything possible to combat it for now

  9. I really don’t know where to put this, so I’ll put it here.

    I’ve had two jabs, I gently encouraged people I knew that were hesitant to do the same, so don’t call me an anti-vaxxer…but in 6 months when there’s another variant and ‘the effectiveness of the booster has worn off’ and fully vaccinated is now updated to mean quadruple jabbed…and when this cycle repeats itself so ‘fully vaccinated’ now means you need your 56th jab to go to the pub, at what point is it acceptable to question what is going on here?

    I’m really yet to read a compelling argument that says three jabs is necessary for people who aren’t clinically vulnerable given the sheer amount of people who have had Covid already?

    Furthermore, at what point is it acceptable to question how much money Big Pharma is making out of endless boosters?

    I’m asking this quite genuinely as well. If there’s a compelling argument that says third, fourth and fifth boosters will stop transmission I’ll get them.

  11. This is going to be devastating for me and my wife. We were both good citizens and got vaccines as soon as we could. My wife lost her period after both doses in July/August and they haven’t come back yet. We had only started trying for a baby a few months earlier so that dream is dead for now. GP refuses to say it’s due to the vaccine (may be right, but timing is pretty incredible) so no chance of getting an exemption. And she is refusing to get a booster, and I fully support her. Even my friends don’t really believe me when I’ve broken down and confided to them. And on top of that we’re now gonna be slowly ostracised from society. When things like vaccine passports are introduced they’re rarely removed, but I live in hope. Very worrying times ahead.

    Not sure why I’ve wasted my time writing this, given up on anyone believing us.

  13. This is absolutely fucked. Like genuinely what is this? Is this life now, having to get a booster every 3-6 months in order to participate in society? People said this would happen about 6 months ago and they were downvoted and called conspiracy theorists, yet here it is 6 months later…

  16. Frustrating. I had really quite severe chest pain after my second jab that hasn’t entirely faded even 4 months later. Really don’t fancy another flare up if I do happen to get the booster

  21. I can see lots of people in this thread saying wtf the conspiracy theorists were right. And yeah I guess we were – maybe not entirely I will admit. The 5G stuff was maybe a bit crackers.

    But now what? I really cannot see a simple way out of this without some kind of political movement. Opposition is being severely repressed in the media.

  22. So if you didn’t get the first and second jabs that didn’t work, do you need to get both of them before the third jab or can you skip to the third?
