  1. infringement on taiwan is infringement on USA’s dominance in the pacific/asia

since we are apparently a vassal state of said USA, I guess Maldeikis is right

  2. Very very simple, if we have values we must stand by them and if we started already backing down is show of weakness, things won’t go back to normal, go to the end or suffer consequences and be a coward.

  3. cia tas tipas kuris isvadino Kinija komediju respublika ar dar kazkaip panasiai izeide visa sali ar jos prezidenta? rimtai? cia tokie dalykai politikams leidziami? seubas

ps, kazkaip pries keleta dienu buvo gautas skambutis is kinijos… pagalvojau, gal kinieciai koki skama pradejo sukti Lietuvoje?

  4. No. China-Taiwan =/= USSR-Lithuania. It’s more like East-West Germany with East Germany being a global superpower and West Germany being the size of Denmark.

It’s ridiculous to assume that the whole world is blind and only Lithuanians are able to see how evil China is. However the big powers don’t have a plan yet and it doesn’t help if we drag them into conflict unprepared.

  5. Yes. As Ukraine’s is too. It sets example for regimes, red lines, that no one wants to put up anymore. Otherwise you’ll show them that they can get away with everything, just a matter of time. Look at Georgia…what happened? No one moved a finger, for most part. Look what came next, with Ukraine.
