No. China-Taiwan =/= USSR-Lithuania. It’s more like East-West Germany with East Germany being a global superpower and West Germany being the size of Denmark.
It’s ridiculous to assume that the whole world is blind and only Lithuanians are able to see how evil China is. However the big powers don’t have a plan yet and it doesn’t help if we drag them into conflict unprepared.
I’m still wondering why lithuania is supporting Taiwan but not it’s own citizens
Yes. As Ukraine’s is too. It sets example for regimes, red lines, that no one wants to put up anymore. Otherwise you’ll show them that they can get away with everything, just a matter of time. Look at Georgia…what happened? No one moved a finger, for most part. Look what came next, with Ukraine.
