They haven’t made an official announcement yet probably because they are still testing it but the url works. It is based on [gov.uk](https://gov.uk) and its purpose is to aggregate all digital services offered by the various government ministries into a single page. It will eventually replace the ariadni government portal.

I would honestly be very impressed if they managed to make it worse than the existing web services of the government.
Some of them are so shit that I would have been embarassed to give them as a 1st year university assignment.
I think lands department is probably the best out there currently.

Gov.uk is the best government portal there is out there, you can literally perform any function you can think of. I really hope it’s a fraction as good!

Dammit, can’t verify your account unless you are in Cyprus or have a bank account there. I might have no use for the account yet but it would be nice to be able to use the service for various citizenship issues.

I’m glad they used the gov.uk one. It is the gold standard in government websites. Obviously it will take some time to aggregate everything under it but this is very positive. Thankfully the UK has made it open source and free to use.
