This is in front of Pain Quotidien in Ixelles / Elsene roundabout close to cemetery.
I read it as parking is OK (first sign – letter P) and payment is mandatory for all except for delivery vehicles. (BTW there are parking machines nearby and YellowParking covers this area). If you dont pay – we fine you 100eur…
But NO!
According to Brussels Parking – this reads as Parking allowed and costs 100eur… as being sent to you as a parking fine…
What a joke 🤦♂️
It’s allowed to park, but you’ll pay 100 euro for it.
Was it in the 16-5 period?
I have lunch here every day (Cimetière d’Ixelles roundabout). I asked 3 different cops about those signs : one is in front of Le pain Quotidien, the other one is in front of La Bastoche restaurant. They told me they don’t know and that it’s not clear. They recommended we should ask the Commune of Ixelles to clarify the situation.
Actually, you can’t park from 5h to 16h (it’s for deliveries) and if you park, you have to pay for a parking ticket during the payable hours : 16 h to 21h.
Seems quite straightforward – between those hours you pay a forfaitary sum of 100 euros, unless you are delivering.
Depends. Call an advocaat.
It is only allowed if you are driving a vehicle of more than 16 meters, odd chance.
Idk man, i speak no word frans.
