Hi guys. Can you help me understand what “Mobilrabat” means? Also, are the prices listed here VAT included? Thanks for help.

  2. Looks like an offer where they drop the price of the phone if you sign up for a plan with them and lock yourself in for (as far as I can tell) six months.

  3. “Mobilrabat” is, as someone else mentioned, a discount when you sign up with their 6 month plan (In this case its “Telenor Mobil Fri Data”). So you locked to them for 6 months (it also shows the total price for the 6 months – Phone + 6 months subscription is 9.813).

    The price on Elgigantens page is because it is without subscription, so you are free to choose which carrier you use.

    And yes, the prices are including VAT

  5. You get the “mobilrabat” when you sign up as a customer to one of Telenors overpriced subscriptions.

    The phone costs from roughly 9000DKK without a subscription. The subscription costs 269DKK every month for 6 months and is a free data/telefon usage subscription.

    10999-2800 =9813

    8199 + 6*269 = 9813

  6. It’s a lot of handwaving and imaginary pricing. By law they are required list the total price(mindstepris i 6mdr.) and that’s the only thing that matters: 9813kr

    Go find the phone at it’s normal price of 9000kr. Then you have an unlocked phone and a budget of 800kr for the next 6 months.

    Telenor is gambling on you not using all that free data and staying with them afterwards.
