Why doesn’t Malta have more bus lanes?

  1. The article is simply suggesting we eliminate parking spaces and roads for cars.

If you ever been to malta you would know it wont work. We have a density problem and removing roads is an impossibility.

We actually need more roads because their isnt simply enough as it is.

And most maltese roads are a single way carriage without parking and not a 2 way carriage with both sides with parking lol.

  2. Because people who are responsible for it suck! Malta would be perfect place for bus and cyclist lanes, there is no almost need for car for people, only for logistics.

  3. *What if, within that zone, cars weren’t prioritised, but buses were?*

What if, within this article, buses were not prioritised, but reducing immigration was? Problem solved.

  4. Because Malta was designed to favour private vehicles by the minister for transport’s own admission….

Quick note here: I would also bet anything that it’s the same reason mini markets are being discouraged nowadays with increasing rents causing them to have higher prices than supermarkets such as PaviPama. More fuel consumption -> more fuel. Keeping a close watch on this would be a solution. Capitalism at its best.

And we have people still saying that the PL were socialists. I wonder what massive cognitive dissonance they would get reading ANY socialist literature.
