Did they prepare *anything*?
Since the votation, my GF, who is a nurse, is describing even more chaos in services she works for, sometimes with interims replacing other interims that were working replacing regular nurses. Of all the 6 nurses we have as friends, 3 have experienced a burn out since 2018.
I am not surprised. There really wasn’t ever any intention of actually putting the result of this vote into practice, and it won’t without some big organizing on behalf of the unions and staff. The Fedeal Council’s counter proposal was the absolute best they could do.
Funny, especially when you consider how many billions they could materialize overnight for the entire CS/UBS affair
The one thing we learned through covid was, that almost every canton is poorly prepared for anything that costs money.
