Money was sent to Earthquake victims not to Erdogan’s government. Sweden is capable of differentiate these two.
The Swedish prime minister Ulf Kristersson was one of the hosts of the donor conference held in Brussels for collecting financial aid to the victims of the catastrophe. The conference resulted in 7 billion EUR in donations. In total, Sweden has now donated 45 million EUR to help the victims of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
