Man. I had the worst fucking Paella in the Legion and it ruined the dish for me forever. Everytime I see it now I get a little sick. Feels like I got cheated out of something great.

I live in VALENCIA and I’d say 80% of the restaurant paellas I’ve had haven’t been very good. It can be a really good dish, but lots of restaurants ruin it. It’s like trying to find good pasta in Rome. You’d think it would be easy, but so many places just cater to tourists they don’t really care. You gotta know someone with a recommendation in both cities to get something good and authentic.
