  1. Because we have absolutely no problem with water levels or desertification, we are shifting our sequeiro to intensive production. But hey, at least our olive oil it’s super cheap now and the workers are well paid portuguese people. /s

  2. I’d say they’re more olive bushes, because they trim them to keep them like that, but yeah, those are olive “trees”, yes.

  3. I believe so. They are cut that way so that the machine to collect the olives can pass through the field.
