Sadly too many traitors in this country in elite positions would rather defend their horrific crimes than sympathise with the victim. We have a massive problem and many BBCophiles are being gaslit.
Ridiculous low sentence seems to be a two teir sentencing regime where it seems one ethical creed is treated more lenient than another

Rapes should be subject to the same sentencing measures as murder tbh.
To me its actually worse because I feel like in some minority cases there’s a reason for murder, for example “murdered their abuser” where you feel like the murder was justified but there is never any reason you’d rape someone other than because you’re a sick fuck.
Haven’t read the article but wtf is up with calling them “sex beasts”? Convicted rapists is what they are.
Sex beasts is both vague and somehow poetic. Like a lyric from an 80’s hair metal song. Sex is consensual, rape is not. Beast invokes religious imagery and is colloquially used to describe both negative and positive characteristics e.g. “That guys is a beast at chess / He’s a chess beast”.
So seven years each but could be considered for release in five?
