Of course it’s not perfect and does not replace a teacher or native speaker. But most people don’t have access to those 24/7. Others are socially awkward or simply too exhausted to deal with a real human after work.
A tool like ChatGPT is always there. You can let it generate short stories to read and translate, have conversations with it, let it explain grammar and correct your mistakes, ask for example sentences with certain words or cases… the possibilities are endless.
I hope the examples on my pictures will inspire some of you to make use of this technology while studying Polish 🙂
Holy crap, that’s incredible. I’m honestly amazed cus I had no clue AI (especially chat AI) can be used in such creative way. It’s really nice that it also provides explanations. Plus of course it has some humor (like the one about not being able to like forests).

I love how when AI wrote the explanation in Polish and you said you wanted it in English it started with “Apologies for that” as if it really forgot itself there like a true ployglot,

It made one mistake. It said “W tej zdaniu” instead of “W tym zdaniu”. Nevertheless, I am impressed.

4. Certain time expressions: The genitive case is used to indicate the duration of time or when specifying days of the week. Example: Czekaliśmy przez dwie godziny. (We waited for two hours.)
There’s no genitive in that sentence. “Dwie godziny” is accusative here.
Whoa, nice. I’m gonna use that for learning English for my exam.

but as a native polish person, i have noticed that in the dialogue beetween Marek and Agnieszka it used the phrase “Do miłego!” at the end. and trust me, no one is ever saying it like that. instead, when you are about to leave a shop or a restaurant it would be more welcome to use “miłego dnia” (have a nice day) or “miłego wieczoru” (have a nice evening) – depending of the time of the day obviously
i have also started practicing my russian with AI and it was really helpful to me to ask him about some general daily phrases such as “do you reckon that…” etc. and i believe you could find that one useful either
anyways good luck with your study and we would be pleasured to see you in our country one day!
