Did the Guardian just learn what referral bonuses are?

I’m always amazed at the fact that doctors, who are presumably very intelligent, choose to work for the NHS.
Good. American healthcare companies are known to pay generously.
This is great news for Doctors who want higher wages, but can’t move to Australia, Canada or USA. As more and more NHS doctors move to private healthcare providers, this will create competition for higher wages which will force the NHS to increase wages.
