8. Honestly, I’m going to guess this came from my German professor (I’m an American who now lives in Switzerland.) I went to uni in Oregon and my German professor there did his PhD thesis on something related to the dialects in Graubünden, and generally was obsessed with Switzerland. He also loved using traditional music to teach language, so I wouldn’t be surprised if this was part of his teaching materials from before he retired.
