I was in a presentation where the architect and structural engineer were explaining different kind if details about the design of these towers. The architect told that his inspiration is from Moscow, where you approach the city through some bunch of towers similiar to this. I don’t know where, as I don’t know Moscow.

It’s perhaps my favourite shot of these buildings. Mainly because it hides one somewhat offensive aspect of the towers — the grey exterior on one of earlier built ones. The fourth one currently being erected is much lighter in colour and looks better.
Kalasatama was one of my favourite places to visit when I was living in Finland.
