I’m perfectly aware it was a “thing”, thousands of people have died and are still dying and in no way it’s even remotely comparable.
But man I was so pissed when I heard about this, last year.
It’s a defacement to what humankind can achieve, just like Isis destroying statues and museums.
This is such a reach. Are we supposed to attribute the achievements of the plane to Ukraine, it’s destruction to Russia, and pretend to not know anything about who designed and built it?
People really should talk more about how Ukraine is an engineering powerhouse, not in just in Soviet union but worldwide.
Hope we see the day Mriya flies again, not the half built second one but destroyed first one, salvaged and rebuilt from its ashes.
If for nothing, just as a big fuck you to Russia.
