  1. reminds me ALOT of my dead grandad, truly irish😂 id kill to spend this st patricks day with him

  2. What’s the alternative? Have every day like the day before? God forbid we have a few days throughout the year that are different from the rest.

  3. As an American of irish descent I find this hilarious and his American accent is pretty good. My only nod to the day is making corned beef and cabbage for my family which is (to my understanding) a purely American thing

  4. I’m in the U.S. and last year for St. Patrick’s Day, I wore a Galway hurling shirt. It was maroon with a hand holding up a hurley stick in white, and had Gaillimh in white letters.

Co-worker: Why aren’t you wearing an Irish shirt for St. Patrick’s Day?

Me: Um, I am. I’m wearing a County Galway hurling shirt.

Co-worker: But…it’s not green. How is that Irish?

Me: It’s maroon and white because those are Galway’s colors. It also has Galway written in Irish and represents Ireland’s oldest sport that goes back 3,000 years.

They looked at me like I had handed them a square peg and asked them to put it into a round hole.

  5. Hes right in a way. America have taken it way to far and spoilt it. Any Americam that had seen the colour green are all of a sudden Irish and then the other Americas who have tasted pasta become Italian.

  6. I agree, as an English man. We seem to celebrate St Patrick’s Day like we’re all Irish yet nobody bats an eyelid when it’s St Georges Day.

  7. Totally agree with his point about Americans. Got a couple in the Cornish village where I live. My god “oh look it’s so quaint so you think we could go in one of the houses and look around” they then knocked on my front door. An angry Scotsman was certainly not what they were expecting. Cornwall will never be the same to them

  8. He is truly Irish.
Playing ball in the garden with dogs is so much fun.
I hate that some people only drink Guinness on St Patricks day. Ive been drinking it since I was a child and my Grandad used to let me have the froth.
Flights are so expensive anyway just for around that time. I might see my Nan in Dublin another time. Its a rip off.
I got annoyed the other day cause a woman complained online about the prices of drinks in Temple Bar. She was a complete Eejit for going out to Temple Bar anyway and not expecting them to be expensive.

  9. What’s this “getting pinched if not wearing a green item of clothing” business about? The USians are beyond ridiculous.
