Metropolitan Police expected to be heavily criticised for being racist, sexist and homophobic in report

  1. I’m surprised they never get criticised for their low intelligence and poor understanding of the law.

  2. Did anyone see those records of officers from all over England that had been arrested from theft, sexual assaults, getting in relationship with victims, drug dealing and everything else ya can think of

  3. Not surprised. The bar for being racist, sexist and homophobic is so low I’d be shocked if any large organisation weren’t branded them

  4. When was the last time one of these reports came back to say “Everything is fine, there are actually no issues with Company X”

I swear the conclusions are decided before the reports are even written

  5. Absolutely, overwhelmingly the people who are most targeted by the police are white men, by quite a margin. The fact prisoners are not perfectly split exactly the same as the general population is proof of systemic racism and sexism against white men.

  6. I don’t believe it at all. There’s absolutely no evidence that the Met is systematically or/and institutionally racist, sexist, homophobic.

    Absolutely none at all.

    They’re the best

  7. No, not the police, who routinely engage in verbal and physical abuse, rape, sometimes murder? I’m shocked! Shocked!! Well, not that shocked.

  8. But they tried so hard to avoid being called racist… WELL other police forces in other areas with certain high level of a certain crime.

  9. A degree should be a minimum requirement for joining the police force. And that on the job shoddy “degree level” training doesn’t count before some chimes in.

Right now, the only qualification you need is a C in GCSE english. That means all you need to get the power of arrest and stick to hit poor people with, is to be just about average at the language you speak.
