I was working in Dublin several years ago for a couple of months, I’m from London and an Irish friend put me in touch with some of her Dublin buddies who took me out for a lovely drink on the 16th, and recommended I have a quiet night in the next evening. Well the day itself was a working day for me so I spent the morning alone in the office in the centre of town, and decided to give myself the afternoon off. It was mayhem on the doorstep. I followed their advice, went home and had no regrets.
