During the Nowruz celebrations held in Diyarbakır, members of the Workers’ Party of Turkey (TIP) and LGBT individuals were attacked by a group calling themselves ‘Kurden Nasyonelist’.
While Turkey was experiencing the enthusiasm of Nowruz, images of battering and attacks emerged from Diyarbakır. Members of the Workers’ Party of Turkey (TIP) and LGBT individuals who entered the area for Nowruz celebrations were beaten and their flags were torn. The Kurdish Nationals, who call themselves “Kurden Nationalists”, claimed responsibility for the events.
In a statement made on social media, the “Kurdish Nazis” argued that TİP members were beaten for defending Atatürk, and LGBTs were beaten for carrying the Turkish flag.
In a statement on the subject on its social media account, TİP said, “Our citizens and party members, who unfurled the LGBTI+ flag in the last Newroz celebrations, were attacked in the field by a group called Kurden National. This attack, which we know that its perpetrators do not represent the Kurdish people, cannot intimidate us, our solidarity will continue.
Kurdish nazis right.
But they’re in an alliance with the main opposition for the next presidential elections so it’s all fine. As long as they’re helping us against Erdoğan /s
That’s a thing?

Hmn, seems something that could be quite easily staged.. any other sources?
There’s a whole lot going on in this headline.
Reminds me of all the political parties and leadiers who consider far-left extremism to be somehow an large threat.
Yeah sure they are, while **this** happens seemingly every week you go after groups that are responsible for just an fraction of the amount of attacks and deaths, with these deaths being mostly Nazis rather than civilians.
No mercy for communists. Well done to the Kurds for not allowing it
There is no “Kurdish Nazi Group” in Turkey (There are a lot of far right Turks and Turkish parties who sympathize with and quote people like [Nihal Atsiz](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nihal_Ats%C4%B1z) who was a notorious Nazi sympathizer and well known Turkish racist). I would take these kinds of reports coming from Turkish users citing Turkish media sources with a grain of salt. It looks more like a staged event by “powers that be” to draw anger towards CHP who is aligned with Kurdish party HDP for upcoming the election.
Expect Turkish nationalists to brigade subs like this to promote their propaganda and massively downvote anyone who oppose it.

OP you’re a hypocrite. Posting some irrelevant news about a fringe extremist group, while you know that it’s really the Turkish neonazis that harass Kurds almost every day.
F*ck off with your propaganda.
EDIT: Ah the brave wolves have come to downvote. Just want to let you know, that nobody in the world believes your chauvinist propaganda, except for some Turks themselves. You live in a parallel world, just like Russia and China.

…Kurdish Nazi group…? Ok…So anyone that isn’t a super fan of anything LGBT is automatically a Nazi now? Is that the new definition of the word?
When I saw this post I thought to myself: “This seems like something a Turk would post.” Then I clicked on OP’s profile and low and behold they’re active in r/Turkey.
This title is as confusing as it can get.
Ahem! U really sure it wasn’t Grey Wolves posing as Kurds? They got a long record of attacking LGBT people and Leftists.
Swap the Turkish and Kurdish in the title and this post would get 40k upvotes 😉
This comment section shows hypocrisy of this sub, people can’t belive a group that is kurdish did it. (yeah they’re nazis but i hope you get what i mean)
Change Kurdish and Turkish and this article would get 10k upvotes + there would probably be people who would wish death to all turks in this comment section and would end up not being removed. This crap hella annoys me on this sub.
But Kurds aren’t supposed to be the baddies.
Europeans learn there are kurdish ultranationalists and turkophobics.
Lets see what happens when the Turkish are replaced by the Kurdish in the title. Most of Europe is beyond hypocrticial when it comes to Kurds, believing that they are some sort of hyper advanced western society when this is mostly the reality. You can ask Sweden how it went for them when they gave asylum to Kurds “that where getting massacered by the Turks”.
Years of Kurd discrimination give rise to Kurd nationalism and Turkophobia who would have thought lol. I don’t condon actions like these but let’s not pretend that Turks are innocent victims in all of this.
Crazy how some people in the comments can’t believe that there are bad Kurdish people just because « Turkey evil 😡😡😡 »
It shouldn’t be this hard to believe that Kurdish nazis exist
What a sad life you need to have to do such things.
Also, stop making excuses. Kurds can be hateful bigots too
“Kurdish Nazi” groups don’t exist.
I really feel sorry for the stupidity of the people who wrote the downvoted comments. They have seen so much propaganda that their brains cannot process the fact that Kurds can be terrorists too.
