They think hospitalisations could exceed the numbers last January? It’s just ridiculous at this point. Cases have plateaued, hospital numbers are falling and vaccines supposedly prevent severe illness yet they think we’ll be as bad as last year.

Why is the minister of Finance giving his opinion on the situation? Surely at this stage there should only be only one person speaking about covid to the media to avoid miscommunication, misinformation and overall just to avoid stressing people out?

I am getting really fucking fed up with people in government coming out with completely contradictory statements within hours of each other. It’s just not on. Either have a coordinated stance or shut the fuck up.
