Are there any crystal clear rivers in Bulgaria like this?

  1. Yes, the ones where all the chemicals have killed the fish and plankton and other living organisms so the water looks crystal clear.

  2. Because of piss poor environmental consciousness, human waste flows inside our rivers and sea. The rivers are contaminated and dirty the moment they pass the first village. So your only hope of a clean river is at the source, before the water has had the chance to pass through a village. Which typically means it’s only a small stream at that point and very difficult to reach.

  3. Probably no, we don’t have such big rivers. Rivers usually have larger debits of water in spring season, but they are eroding soil and pretty much brownish color. Other seasons rivers are dark brown or green or black of algaes
