  1. I bet NATO bombed them for no reason whatsoever, they were bored and had some bombs just laying around. Oh no, wait…serbs planned to do some genocide again but this time on Albanians…

  2. No one feels bad for all the horrible things that happened to Germany in the aftermath of WW2.

No one feels bad for all the horrible things that happened to Serbia in the aftermath of the Yugoslav wars.

No one sympathizes with the aggressor. Perhaps Serbia can repair its international reputation by accepting responsibility for its actions and letting the past go, but that’s going to take a couple of decades. Until then, Serbia is going to play victim, act spiteful and only cause more damage to itself by isolating itself from its neighbors.

  3. It says alot how people are chilling outside trusting that nato forces are precise and decent enough to not hit civis.

  4. Fuck around and find out. Maybe next time the Serbs will think twice before commiting ethnic cleansing.

  5. OP what are you trying to accomplish? Yes, innocents civilians died in Novi Sad.

Doesn’t mean the Serbian government were the good guys.

  6. Not a single former Yugoslav Republic that defended themselves crossed over into Serbia. Serbia crossed over into everyone else looking for trouble. All those people in that picture just learned a lesson in fuck around and find out

  7. Serbs will never accept responsibility for their actions against their neighbours in Yugoslavia. Instead of growing as a state and taking responsibility, they are regressing and growing closer to despot states like Russia. Yugoslavia was committing ethnic cleansing of Albanians. It warranted a response and got it.

I’ve no doubt innocent civilians were killed by NATO and RIP to them. But the entire thing could have been avoided if Milosevic didn’t act like a fuckhead.

  8. Wow, didn’t realize it was that warm in Serbia. People walking around in t-shirts and even some shorts, while today here it’s barely above 10 degrees

Apparently it’s more than 20 degrees right now in Serbia

  9. I think the problem with this kind of rhetoric isn’t actually that it’s horrible that these people died, because yes that is terrible. It is that the people thinking of this stuff think their country or regime has been wronged. It is the same with marches to mourn the bombing of dresden 1945 or Americans mourning fallen confederacy soldiers. These people don’t mourn the atrocities their leaders have done.
.. and see how one is the consequence of the other

  10. Serbia got what they fucking deserved. And now, instead of taking responsibility for their actions and rebuilding relationships with the world, they continue to play victim in a fight that was their fault.
I really want to see Serbia prosper and become a civilised nation in this modern age, but when senseless propaganda and nationalism infect the minds of the stubborn populace, it becomes a wanning dream.

  11. Almost every Serb I talked to explained their support for Russia’s genocide, rape, murder, and looting in Ukraine as a result of NATO bombing Serbia, completely ignoring the fact that Serbia was the aggressor in that conflict. It’s the equivalent of if Japan does not apologize for its brutal acts in WWII and instead complains that it’s a victim of WWII because of the atomic bomb. This country is sadly regressing into a Russian puppet state.

  12. Imagine if Germany never acknowledged that Nazism was bad and that under the Nazis Germany did terrible things, and that then Germany instead kept calling the Allies warmongers and war criminals. Accusing them of genocide because of bombings they did against Nazi Germany.

    That’s basically Serbia in reality.
