RV Lehtonen advertised for work again. DO NOT TAKE THIS JOB.
I worked for them briefly, their trucks are in terrible shape. When I refused to drive a dangerous one they told me to f\*ck off and then were using every excuse to not pay me. I had to chase them for weeks and still they have only paid me half of the hours I worked for them so far (but I am working on this).
I happen to know I was not the first one they tried to shaft, make sure you won’t be next. Do not touch this with a bargepole!

You can and should make a report about the trucks that are not safe to drive to the police by filling a [request related to traffic control](https://poliisi.fi/en/request-related-to-traffic-control). Wages you might get trough [Palkkaturva](https://www.palkkaturva.fi/). I’m not that familiar with how they work as they say it’s for when the employer has payment difficulties and I’m not sure how it goes if they just refuse to pay. But they do offer legal advice on these types of matters so you might want to contact them.
You should know: there are plenty of trucking companies doing this. The motto on the profession is: “if you won’t do it; there’s always a crazy motherfucker who will.” A flashback to when I drove for a since bankrupt Nybrok and they tried to make me board a passenger ship with dangerous cargo without ever declaring I have dangerous cargo. That’s so fucking illegal and I refused. What did they do? They told me to leave the trailer in the harbor and get the next cargo. I know in my heart someone else did it because I refused..
Apparently Finland is not yet lacking truck drivers?
Such business practices piss me off. I hope you will get your money and that the company will be fined. It’s good to shame their reputation online.
Sounds like America.
This maybe be a bit off topic, but I recall seeing signs for truckers’ saunas in some ABC-service stations. Have you ever tried one?
Also fuck the sleazeball employers, they try to pull off this shit in most of the blue-collar jobs, whether it is doing some clearly unsafe or straight-up illegal shit or work with less than adequate tools. Thankfully there is still some good ones out there.
Take them to court!
