A one off payment and a ~3.5% rise might be enough of a bribe to swing a strike continuance vote for now, but it’s a shit deal that would only kick the can down the road. Let’s hope that offer is well above 3.5%.

In the beginning “it’s not about the money, it’s about staff shortages and patient safety”…..guess it was about the money after all.
Nursing unions are historically notorious for lacking the appetite for industrial action. Now that we are here, we need to keep going. Anything under 10٪ is a fucking insult.
The Tory biased media keep feeding people the same lie about lack of money. There’s money, but they want to avoid a precedent.
I fear the worst. I’m worried that the unions will cave in.
