What kind of cheese and bread do you guys Recommend to make zapiekanki at home. I bought the spicy ketchup from a local polish store. I wouldn’t mind some pointers

So, my grampa was first generation from Poland in the US. Wasn’t allowed to learn Polish at home. Grew up in Pittsburgh. Claimed to not like pierogis or kielbasa because hes an American. Put ketchup on everything saying the US was a Heinz 57, and so were we. But, you’re saying, putting ketchup on things is Polish???
Bet it was made using microwave, and 4day old bread
