I would not see an issue with that provided it is fairly inexpensive.

My school did for breakfast club and after school club back in the 90s, as do many schools. It is far from a new or outlandish idea.
Is this supposed to be unusual or controversial? Schools are not childcare providers so of course they will charge more for providing childcare outside of contractual contact teaching hours.
Most schools already charge for wraparound care, this is hardly news.
At my son’s school its £25 a day for 8am breakfast club and 3-6 After School club combined.
The breakfast club before primary school and after school club is run by a private company. £7 an hour. Oof.
