Surprised that they can find it in themselves to like us despite the antics of groups of Englishmen in Kraków as well as the xenophobia many Polish people have faced in the UK.
Edit: “surprised” was the wrong word to choose, glad would have been a better choice. Glad because in the UK issues like these which get blown out of proportion and would affect public sentiment towards a particular nationality helped by shitrags like the Sun or Daily Mail.
I really wanna know why the dislike against Lithuanians has risen since Jan 2022 cause I absolutely cannot explain it with anything else than associating Lithuania with being east of Poland like Belarus and *ugh, they must be like ruskie = baaAaAAaD.* If that’s the case, then damn, people are dumb.
Anyway, normal people like and respect you a lot, Lithuanians.

Interesting, so ukrainians are liked by 51% poles, but i feel like in Ukraine like at least 80% like poles (maybe even higher with all the help Poland provided, it was a huge boost last year). Absolutely all people i know love Poland despite most never been there (tho many did at least once).
Surprised to see germans that high in dislike category. I thought at first the reason might be that its not pleasant having a neighbor that is so much wealthier right at your border.
But according to eurostat as of 2020 the median wage gap between Germany and Poland is 41% while between Ukraine and Poland is 60% so i doubt that. Its most probably historical reasons i guess.
And the rise last year is probably at least partially due to Germany’s slow movement (at first) with aid to Ukraine, when Poland being closer to the action was donating everything it could despite being not as wealthy.

Suprised poles like italians. Half of the italians almost look like arabs and i know from experience with t poles, that every 2nd pole i meet speaks about not wanting arabs in their country without a context to the conversation. Its like they are obsessed with arab hate.
Just outside the plot, below the Russians, are Turkish. 0.1% like. For the cheap summer vacation.

You can draw obvious conclusions as to why dislike of Russians, Belorussians, Germans has increased in the last year. But the interesting part is that dislike of Arabs and Roma (Gypsies) increased in the last year also. What did Arabs and Roma people do in the last year to cause that? Nothing. But Poles have been emboldened in the last year because of the war in Ukraine and they are leading the anti Russian cause with strong US backing. The Ukraine war has unleashed Poles nationalist tendencies so they are likely feeling more emboldened to say what they really think about Arabs and Gypsies. It’s a bit like when Trump got elected, the racists and the xenophobes felt emboldened.
