Social housing again ~ nothing being built for the working peasants anymore? 🤷🏻♂️
I moved out of carrigaline because of the rent prices. It’s a terrible place with all the traffic now days.
Crooks allowing this should be arrested and put behind bars!
Too “rich” to apply, to “poor” to get anything else.
Perpetually stuck in the middle
>“The properties were advertised on [the council’s] Choice Based Letting in November 2022, in advance of the completion of the development,” said a spokesperson.“There was considerable interest in these properties with over 700 expressions of interest received.“Selection of suitable applicants is being finalised at present and the properties will be allocated shortly.”
A glacially slow acting council.
Beautiful homes, I hope whoever gets them looks after them well
They should just do what they do in NYC for social housing. They advertise that a new development is available and then open a lottery. The council could have put these 700 names in a hat, selected the first 15 people and then reviewed their suitability once they were selected. Then informed them they have a house once they confirm they are suitable.
