Hello. I live in Cologne, Germany.

I’ve been considering changing my internet provider. I am currently on Vodafone (Unitymedia) through coax cable. I consider switching to a DSL option since the cable one is not really stable.

My question is, is one of these a DSL/telephone cable? I don’t have a port connected to them. The second one seems to be a power cable according to my research. My landlord doesn’t seem to know exactly.

  1. First one (Black & red) might be a telephone cable. Technician would have to mount a telephone connection box where you could then plug in a DSL Modem/Router.

    Are you sure you do not have an existing landline connector?
