  1. If one side invades a country, massacres it’s peeople and kidnaps their children while the other side is trying to defend itself, you’re not neutral. You’re on the side of the invader.

  2. Neutrality has served switzerland well, but what is the purpose of it in todays’s europe? Especially since they already have sanctions against russia in place, is that purely for commercial reasons?

  3. “Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. … When human lives are endangered, when human dignity is in jeopardy, national borders and sensitivities become irrelevant. Wherever men or women are persecuted because of their race, religion, or political views, that place must … become the center of the universe.”
    – Elie Wiesel, Nobel Peace Prize Acceptance Speech

  4. Perhaps the colleagues in the swiss arms industry have something to say regarding that ‘fetish’. After seeing deliveries (or re-export) of ammo prohibited under that vaunted neutrality.

  5. The old “we mass produce weapons, but we are neutral, so we cant allow them to be used against invaders” argument.

  6. The Swiss has made the best anti Swiss campaign of the century by following up on their nazi “neutrality” with their Putin “neutrality”.

May your banks rot and bring your system down.
