Yes yes yes, and if you don’t please wash your hands. Even if you own the skills to swing the men without hands public bathrooms are the nastiest shit ever. Door handles are fucking nasty, thankfully you always have a hand washing sink in every Bar or restaurant in Albania and no door in that part so you don’t have to open doors after washing hands. In the house you can clean the bathroom so it’s not an issue, just wash them normally.
This gets posted every week.
Anyways, I think the Balkans are high due to the years of Ottoman rule. Even though I don’t think a majority of any population (besides those that are anyways) became Muslim, some of the habits became normalized.
Though I would say that it’s lower in Bulgaria because (older) people tend to be apathetic to literally anything in their lives.
