There’s no really dangerous spiders in Norway. There’s some that can bite / have venom that can cause some pain or swelling, but not deadly or particularly a problem for the vast majority and they usually only bite if provoked and even then generally just run away/hide.
u/Wololooo1996 no, the spiders in Norway never bite, you guys are just dramatic….

bros feel there’s a human sleeping and bite them in self-defense
BTW, they are not crazy dangerous, but I can’t deny that in 5 years I got bit a couple of times. No hospital material, but definitely annoying. If you want to be its friend… At least, make a tiny house for it. If not evict it 🤣
Dear God. I hate spiders. If I find it at home my next step is open finn and look for another place.
If you are from another country with dangerous spiders, you can relax. There are no dangerous spiders in Norway.
This fella is known as a big house spider (stor husedderkopp) and is one of the biggest spiders in Norway. These house spiders are good to have because they hunt other insects.
They are most common in basements or wet or damp areas and they are shy of people and unless you try to catch it or torture it with your hands or something, they will never bite you. If you see one and wave at it, it will try to freeze or run fast away from you.
This spider is big for being Norwegian, but if you hate mosquitos or fruit flies or other insects, this spider gets rid of those for you. It causes no harm and is of no threat to you whatsoever. It is just a spider, so it looks kind of creepy for people who don’t like spiders.
Smol
They can bite in self-defence. Similar to being stung by a wasp. Fun fact, they are quite fond of blue light, so if you have a tv in the basement they like to hang out on the wall facing the tv.. Look behind you…..
En edderkopp
You do not live in Norway, I’m sorry. I’ve lived here my entire life, and that is either in Australia, or not a spider at all but an actual hologram
It’s not poisonous, but can bite if provoked. Leave it. It takes care of all other insects and small creatures you don’t want. It will do it’s best to keep away from you.
