I asked Genie (chat gpt) to write an itinerary for driving from Oslo to Tromsø cause I was bored and didn’t know what else to ask, seem like a good one?

Have you checked the distances in Google Maps?
The itinerary it recommends for day 5 is a 23 hour straight drive.
Just end your trip with 22hour drive from Tromsø to Oslo. You even got 2 hours to stop along the way.
I think it’s safe to say that ChatGPT is from Oslo. Thinking that Tromsø is so remote that you need three days to drive there from Oslo, but that Oslo is so central that you can get there in a day from Tromsø is very on brand for them, anyway.
Be careful with taking advice from AI, especially if it’s about something from non-english nations! It will straight up make stuff up if its training data doesn’t cover the topic and present it as fact, and because it’s an AI developed in the US the training data will not cover foreign common knowledge so to speak.
As somebody else said here day 5 is a ridiculous long drive, you won’t have time to visit any of the places it mentions. It really has no idea of the distances and driving times involved here.
Day 2 and 3 would be brutally long days. And day 5 would be only driving all day and night.
You can’t just stop at Dovrefjell to see the muskoxen. With luck you will see one, but most times you won’t.
Spend the night in Mo i Rana is the worst idea in this.
