  1. Wychodzi że na jedną zapke przypada 4334 Polaków na na jeden 711 5800 Japończyków

  2. There are 9066 Żabkas for 37,75 mln Poles that is 240 Żabkas per 1 million people in Poland. In Japan there are 21,402 7-Elevens for 125,7 mln Japanese that is 170 7-Elevens per 1 million people. Poland is already far ahead and new ones are still being build.

  3. Żabka is not the only convenience store franchise in Poland.

  4. Convenience stores in Japan are one thing. Check how many vending machines they have out in the streets – they carry some of the essentials and can be a good substitute for the stores

  5. Now do comparison of various vending machines Poland vs Japan

Or maybe don’t. It is hard to figure out what was your point here anyway

  6. As others had already mentioned, In Poland we have mostly Żabka monopoly, while in Japan you have a few other “brands” such as Family Mart, Lawson and so on, which are as common as 7/11.

For example in Poland, I had 2 żabkas on one neighberhood.

Here in Japan I have: 3 family marts, 1 lawson. (not counting little “independent” shops, and bigger mid size supermarkets)

    TLDR: The title is misleading.

Edit: Moreover, you’re counting for ” 37,75 mln Poles”, but forget that Poland’s population is around 40mln, because of Ukrainians (you can check by adding all work permits, refugees with pesel, and so on).

Just small fyi from Data Scientist

  7. Food served in Japanese stores is so much better though. Best Zabka can do is a hot dog that will save you from starving but is terrible overall. Conbinis offer variety of chickens, oden and other stuff that’s actually tasty and maybe even healthy.

  8. This factoring in the infinite army of Japanese vending machines though?

  9. You count zabka vs 7-11. There’s also Lawson, family mart, mini stop and others in Japan. All open 24/7 🙂
