Does anyone remember these guys? In 2012 no one would have thought how the meaning of the flags together will change 10 years later

  1. Ten years later? Just look what happened with a Donetsk Airport which was rebuild for the Euro just short while later. It was a heavy prelude of what’s gonna happen in the near future. Life is shit

  2. I remember at that time how Russians cheered for Ukrainians and their national football team there. Who would think at that time what will happen between these two in just 10 years?..

  3. Lol I forgot Euro 2012 was a thing xD pretty forgettable tournament

Mascots were just a ripoff of Austria Switzerland 2008 as well

  4. I still have a scarf from this Euro hanging in my room and a ball with these guys hidden somewhere in the house

  5. What hurts is that a lot of my childhood friends hate Ukrainians for “taking our jobs!”, even during 2012 world cup.

I didn’t think much about it until I became an expat myself.

Now they’re my former friends. Gods bless you, soldiers.

  6. I was there! Spent two weeks travelling between Poland and Ukraine, saw a match in Lviv, Denmark-Germany I believe.

  7. Thanks for making me feel old… wtf do you mean 10 years.

  8. I remember their hands were sewed together and I ripped them apart

  9. Yes! And I was in Donetsk in 2012! Beautiful modern city, with a new stadium and airport. And no one even talked about wanting to be a part of ruzzia. And then the russian world came uninvited, to protect no one.

  10. There was even a lingerie set inspired by them xD it was called Pin Up Goal by Kinga

  11. you just unlocked a really faint and wierd memory in my brain

  12. I still have them somewhere 🥺 And a set of puzzles with them

  13. KOKO KOKO EURO SPOKO , PIŁKA LECI W HUJ WYSOKO , WSZYSCY RAZEM ZAŚPIEWAJMY, RUSKIM W DUPE DAJMY !!!

( i steel have the ball that my grandpa give me in 2012 )

  14. I still remember so much from that Euro, Szczesny getting sent off against Greece and being replaced by Przemyslaw Tyton, Balotelli taking off his shirt to do the muscle flex, Ronaldo getting that goal stolen by Nani, the lightning strikes at the France v Ukraine match, Shevchenko’s last tournament, Oceana singing Endless Summer. It was the tournament that made me interested in football, and the first Euro I’ve ever watched. Good times.

Edit: DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE EURO 2012 PANINI TRADING CARDS AND STICKERS! I was a silly kid and I got two Top Master cards Keane and Pirlo and I traded one away for a regular Casillas card.
