Not even one citizen of Israel was killed during WW2 as Izrael didn’t exist then. They were all citizens of Poland, Germany, France, Slovakia etc.
Anyway, good for them. Maybe the closeness of war everyday makes them more open to proper moves against their government.

The reperations crap is really getting old – you really prefer having a hostile relationship with your biggest trade partner (trade with Germany accounts for 28% of exports and 25% of imports – for Germany those numbers are both close to 5% repsectively)
Having such strong economic ties have waaaaay more long term benefits than any reperations could have.
So on the last point. Germany did pay reparations to Poland, but the Soviet government stole it all. 😅
Democracies need stable, independent and free institutions.
THis is the only way.
Make sure to preserve the freedoms of those you dislike and you won’t see your rights taken away either.
Honestly, Israel’s system of government is one of the worst among modern liberal democracies.
