The label 🏷️ gives me a hint of “socialist” period.
First the price that was coming from the manufacturer, second this was a normal thing to put on goods in all socialist countries in that time.
Unfortunately it’s hard to read the date on the stamp.
If anyone has a different opinion I would be curious to read.
That’s Cepelia stuff. Handmade in Warsaw, sold en masse in store with folklore inspired trinkets ‘Cepelia’.
Not sure if they are still around.
> And is the label underneath Polish?
Yarp, it is.
> > Spółdzielcze Zrzeszenie Wytwórców Rękodzieła Ludowego i Artystycznego w Warszawie
Warsaw, duh. The particular manufacture eventually became “<<Kanon>> Spółdzielnia Pracy Wytwórców Rękodzieła Ludowego i Artystycznego w Warszawie” until it was dissolved in 2004.
