The government gave a clear sign making money in the Dutch housing market is over. Which for most people sounds great.
Unfortunately the businesses and investors that build houses want to make profits and it seems like if they cannot do that, they cannot be forced to build.
Government is, for the 100th time, saying that all things will be fine. But I’m missing the part where they are stepping up, implement higher taxes, allocating extra billions to woningcorporaties and be prepared to have them run on a loss forever.
Wat een tragedie. Voor 2030 hebben we met de toenemende bevolking circa een miljoen woningen nodig. Benieuwd wanneer we de eerste tentenkampen gaan zien a la Skid Row
Zolang huizen alleen worden gebouwd om winst op te maken gaat het probleem nooit opgelost worden.
Dat het anders kan heeft de bouwrevolutie van de vroege 20e eeuw bewezen, toen zijn er hele wijken gebouwd met als oogmerk *huisvesting te bewerkstelligen* in plaats van *winst maken*.

Dit is een duidelijk teken dat de verkeerde soort woningen in een verkeerde prijsklasse wordt ontwikkeld.
