This is absolutely standard. If you apply for a grid connection that exceeds the available capacity of the LV network in your area then you have to pick up the cost of distribution network upgrades. This would apply to Joe Bloggs if he wanted to install a high load device too. The difference is, that most people would deem the cost too great, Sunak can afford it…

Legislation is needed where wealth and property cannot be inherited, it must all go to the state, except for personal possessions, under a low limit.
We would then see how successful the rich kids are when they don’t have an inheritance to get them through life, although they would still benefit from a fantastic private education and financial support from their family, but they’d be no better off than the average person within a generation or two.
The real inequality in this world is money…the rich keep our eyes off them by keeping us busy with fighting over race, gender, sexuality. A clever diversion, keep the masses focused on small issues and ignore the enormous elephant in the room
