What are these explosions near my hotel?

Hi guys, I see the island is relatively small. Can I hike from end to end in 40 degree weather in August? Oh btw Im from a country that has only like 10 hours of sun per month and have no idea what heat exhaustion is.
Also I don’t know how to swim but the sea is nice and very forgiving, right guys? I was thinking of diving into crystal lagoon with absolutely no way to get out apart from swimming out but from google maps it looks very easy.
I think we need a few sticky posts.

Is it easier to rent a car to get around or should I use the buses?
I will be staying in St. Julian’s btw.
Can we expect Sean Bean to die this summer season?
Why not making a mega thread with all the places there’s to visit. Where all the dates for different stuff is included, and cover all the basic questions?
Pollution this summer is awful
the only thing what would help with the traffic would be scooter taxi like in bali ..idk what bolt wants with that traffic boost, still take the space of a car and still gets stuck in traffic 🙄🙄🤦🏼♀️
To be fair, I posted something similar in a city’s subreddit recently and I got excellent advice for my visit.
I’ll do my best to answer those posts this summer.
It’s definitely better use of my time than reading the bloody news at the moment.
What we should do, if there are mods around, is ask people to post with slightly more context and structure. Those will help us give better advice.
Let’s not forget the classic “I can’t be asred to use Google! Where should I visit???!?!?!?”
