I know that there was an investigation due to complaints by Serbia but no action was taken because they had all left the army by the time the video surfaced on the internet so the trail runs cold there.

I’ve always been interested about the lads that made the iconic video and where life took them, and I’m hoping that by some small miracle someone in r/Norway might know them, or know of them.

  1. It seems a little weird that you want to know who/where they are now? Are you gonna give them a pat on the back? Or is this actually a lame attempt at locating them for repercussions haha.. even if I did know I don’t think I’d inform you in today’s international climate, sorry

  2. I’m still impressed by how good the singing was on that video, like it actually sounds like a song and not like a bunch of idiots signing into the cheapest microphone known to man. Someone went through some trouble to make the audio and video decent, and I still listen to it from time to time.

  3. Most likely they survived. Almost no casualties related to the Norwegian deployment of soldiers in Kosovo.

    How they fared after is anyone’s guess. Some struggled afterwards because of what they saw, civilian casualties they weren’t able to prevent and stuff like that.

    Many just went back to civilian life after their service and are just living their lives like everyone else.
