I agree with you on Finland being absolutely gorgeous 😍 so much greenery!! And all the lakes and rivers!! My dear mother is from Tornio and I am blessed to have been able to visit Tornio and Haparanda, 3 times in my life and I told my late mom that she had such a beautiful country, I was only 5!!! Love my roots and miss my beautiful mommy!!

I used to feel the same when I used visit Finland for holidays in the past. Now I live here permanently, it’s kind of lost its appeal! Like many countries I suppose. Sometimes the best part of the holiday is returning home 😁

We’re visiting Helsinki in October! Not sure it’s the best time to go but it was a good compromise for my mom as she doesn’t wanna deal with the Lapland winter. Regardless, I can’t wait!
