Objection! Cats in Ayia Napa and Paralimni have 7 lives and not 9!
so what happens when a cat has 2 lifes left and they cross the buffer zone from north to south? 🤔
Sadly this means that no BBF solution of the Cyprus problem is possible.
All the cats in the island will side with the turkish-speaking constituent part, changing the balance of power and forever catifying the island, to protect their personal interest of having 9 lives instead of 7!
So in order to protect ourselves from cats taking us over, we need to forever keep the status quo, until the trap-neuter-release program is actually implemented in 500 years to reduce the stray feline population.

Correction: in Greek it’s 7 souls, not lives.
Since CY cats have the personality of 7 “normal” euro cats, they’re said to possess 7 souls.
However, In Cyprus they only have one life as cars serve as population control.
FYI
It’s seven in the green regions because they have lost the first two.
It is 1 you can look it up
Hehe… I actually always thought they had 9 lives. I didn’t know that different countries had different rules. Silly 😝
Lets do an experiment to see who is right. I am almost certain our beliefs are closer to the truth.
