I found out recently that the property I’m currently renting is EPC rating G. G!
Not E, the bare minimum, not even F, it’s fucking G! But what can I do about it? Absolutely nothing.
Nothing is being done about properties that don’t meet the standards now, because no council can afford to police it. What makes anyone think they’d have a better time of it if the minimum rating was C?
