I like the brutalist style very much, but looks like to be a compromise between brutalist and more conventional. Could use more volume and more conrete IMO, but not looking bad at all…

EDIT: The Church should be a pioneer in advocating for the poor, for the people in need, for the vulnerable. Yet, look around.

Considering how the MAJORITY of the hungarian churches were destroyed after 1920 by the following romanian governments, its a nice thing but not that much to rebuild just a few. The local jews did not even get most of their houses and belongings back, even by today, their courtcases are still open…
And as far as i know, this one was also financiad by hungary, not by romania itself…

It is 2023 and we still build churches. I can only feel disappointment in humanity.
I like the overall shape, but there’s too much concrete for my taste.
