  1. I think it’s awesome that we invest in trying out new alternatives for reducing or eliminating emissions from transport.

    Of course not all of it will work out. It’s perfectly possible that in a few years we’ll conclude that this really doesn’t work well, and there are other better alternatives.

    But the price of progress is being willing to invest in both science and engineering to gain knowledge and practical experience with what works — and what doesn’t.

    Norway has lots of ferries. And we’re a wealthy country that can afford some experiments.

    I think it’s awesome that we’ve been at or near the forefront in both gas-powered, battery-powered and now also hydrogen-powered ferries.

    Sure, some of these experiments will be failures. We’ll conclude that this is NOT the way to do it. But knowledge gained has value, and the best way to learn what works, is often to try things out.

    To learn to do something RIGHT you have to be willing to **TRY** even knowing that many of the experiments will be failures.
